Our intention is to incorporate Sustainable Farming Practices providing long term benefits for our land, our community and beyond. The property, which has family connections going back 100 years is set on seventy eight acres, eighteen acres of cleared land dedicated to our home and farm, the remainder is natural bush. And we love it that way! At Fielderberry Farm we have many varieties of raspberries, blueberries and blackberries available for picking from December to March. Autumn crop Raspberries can go to April. Each variety offers a unique taste experience.
Raspberries
Serpells Willamette - Soft & sweet, suitable for cooking
Chilliwack - Structured fruit, tangy. Suitable to decorate your desserts. Summer cropping, with a small Autumn crop.
Tullameen - Sweet, structured, large sized fruit. A good all rounder raspberry which also has a small Autumn crop. Heritage - The original, irresistible, Autumn fruiting variety
Blueberries
Northland - Medium sized dark, sweet fruit. Will have a great crop on Fielderberry Farm.
Blue Rose - Particularly large fruit. May have some ripe for Christmas to late summer.
Brigitta - Late season berry, producing lovely firm fruit.
Denise - Loves the Fielderberry Farm climate. Large fruit, wonderful eaten fresh.
Thornless Blackberries
Ouchita - Medium sized, pluckable fruit with good flavour and firmness on thornless canes.
Navaho - Good sized, plump fruit with sweet flavour. Stores well. Easily harvested from thornless canes.
